COOKIES POLICY

INTRODUCTION
Cookies are small text strings that the sites visited send to the user’s terminal (usually to the browser used by the user) where they are stored and then retransmitted to the same sites the next time the same user visits.

Users viewing the site will see minimal amounts of information inserted into the devices in use (whether computers or mobile devices), in small text files called “cookies” saved in the directories used by the User’s web browser, for varying periods of time depending on the need and generally ranging from a few hours to a few years, with the exception of profiling cookies whose maximum duration is 365 calendar days.

This document is an integral part of the “Privacy Policy” of ACCAPIERRE S.R.L., which is also composed of the website and cookies policy, which can be consulted here, and is drawn up in compliance with the Provision of the Guarantor of 8 May 2014 published in the Official Gazette no. 126 on 3 June 2014, implementing Directive 2002/58/EC. The decision to organise the information documents in this way derives from the desire to guarantee greater clarity, in favour of the user, regarding the meaning, use and deactivation of cookies. Cookies can be used to semi-permanently record information relating to the user’s preferences and other technical data that allow easier navigation and greater ease of use and effectiveness of the site itself. For example, cookies can be used to determine whether a connection has already been made between the visitor’s computer and the site visited in order to highlight new features or maintain “login” information.

It should be noted that the user can express his or her options on the use of cookies on this website (see detailed list in the section below “types of cookies”) also through the settings of the browser(s) by following the instructions provided. The user can also set up “anonymous browsing”, which allows him/her to surf the Internet without saving any information about the sites, the pages visited, any passwords entered and other information that can be traced back to his/her identity.

THIRD PARTIES
User data are also collected through tools and services provided by third parties and stored by them. For further information, please refer to the cookie policy of these third parties in the manner explained later in this document. Given the objective complexity of identifying technologies based on cookies and their close integration with the functioning of applications and the web, users are invited to contact the Owner if they wish to receive any further information on the use of cookies and any use of the same – for example by third parties – carried out through this site.

HOW TO CHECK AND POSSIBLY DISABLE COOKIES

If you have any doubts or concerns about the use of cookies, you can always take action to prevent them from being set and read, for example by changing the privacy settings in the browser used on your terminal, in order to block certain types of cookies.

Since browsers – and often different versions of the same browser – differ, even considerably, from one another, if you prefer to act independently, through the preferences of the one you are using, you can find detailed information on the necessary procedure in the help of each of these tools. For an initial overview of how to do this for the most common browsers, please visit www.cookiepedia.co.uk.

You can therefore manage your cookie preferences directly in your browser and prevent third parties from installing cookies, for example. You can also use your browser preferences to delete any cookies you have installed in the past, including the cookie in which your consent to the installation of cookies by this website is stored. It is important to note that by disabling all cookies, the operation of this website may be impaired.

The user can find information on how to manage or disable cookies in his browser at the following addresses:

If you are using a web browser not listed above, please refer to your browser’s documentation or online help for further information. Users are warned that the holder merely acts as a technical intermediary for the links contained in this document and cannot assume any responsibility in the event of any changes, and it is reiterated that the deactivation by the user of all types of cookies (including technical cookies) may reduce or render unavailable certain functions of the site.

COOKIES (definition and general description)
Cookies are small text strings stored in the user’s browser that assist the Data Controller in providing the service for the purposes described. While browsing a site, the user may also receive cookies on his/her terminal that are sent by different sites or web servers (so-called “third parties”), on which some elements (such as, for example, images, maps, sounds, specific links to pages of other domains) present on the site he/she is visiting may reside.

Cookies, which are usually present in a very high number in users’ browsers and sometimes with characteristics of wide temporal persistence, are used for different purposes: performing computer authentication, monitoring sessions, storing information on specific configurations concerning users accessing the server, etc.. Some of the purposes for which cookies are installed may also require the user’s consent.

In order to arrive at a correct regulation of such devices, given that there are no technical characteristics that differentiate them from one another, it is necessary to distinguish them precisely on the basis of the purposes pursued by those who use them. Moreover, the legislator has moved in this direction, implementing the provisions contained in Directive 2009/136/EC, and has made it compulsory to obtain the prior and informed consent of users for the installation of cookies used for purposes other than purely technical ones (see Article 1, paragraph 5, letter a) of Legislative Decree no. 69 of 28 May 2012, which amended Article 122 of the Code).

More information on cookies can be found at www.allaboutcookies.org as well as on the website of the Italian Privacy Guarantor, where you can view useful documents relating to the classification of cookies as included in the Provision of the Guarantor of 8 May 2014 published in the Official Gazette No. 126 on 3 June 2014, implementing Directive 2002/58/EC.

COOKIES USED BY THE SITE
The site www.accapierre.it uses various types of cookies, some to make the use of the site more effective, others to enable certain functions. Cookies are used to enable the use of this site and the provision of associated services:

  • persistent cookies (i.e. cookies that remain in memory until manually deleted by the user or scheduled for long-term removal);
  • session cookies, which are not stored persistently on the visitor’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed.

It should also be noted that first party cookies are those generated and used by this site, while third party cookies are generated, again on this site, by third parties. While specifying that disabling certain cookies may limit the possibility of using the site and prevent you from fully benefiting from the functions and services provided, we remind you that the previous paragraph indicates how to best manage or disable the cookies themselves. On this site there are different types of cookies – with specific functions – that can belong to one or more of the categories described below.

TECHNICAL COOKIES
In general, technical cookies are those that allow the memorisation of previous actions or save the user’s session or carry out other activities that are strictly necessary for the functioning of a site. Some of these cookies are essential for the proper functioning of the site and allow users to navigate the site, view its contents and exploit its features. The www.accapierre.it website uses technical cookies that are necessary and essential for its operation and to improve the user’s browsing experience.

The use of such cookies does not require the consent of the person concerned. Functionality” cookies (which can be assimilated to technical cookies in the light of the Provision of the Guarantor of 8 May 2014 published in the Official Gazette no. 126 on 3 June 2014, implementing Directive 2002/58/EC) allow the site to remember the user’s choices (e.g. the user’s name) in order to provide the user with more personalised and optimised navigation. In general, for example, cookies of this type remember in which language the user prefers to view the content or remember (for a limited period) the items in the virtual shopping cart in case you close the session before completing the purchase, may also be necessary to keep open a browsing session or to allow the user to access any restricted areas. They may also be needed to keep a browsing session open or to allow the user to access any restricted areas. They may also temporarily remember texts entered while filling in a form when returning to a previous page during the same session.

Functional cookies are not essential to the operation of the site, but they improve the quality and experience of navigation; if you do not accept these cookies, the performance and functionality of the site may not be optimal and access to its contents may be limited.

The sit www.accapierre.it the site uses cookies to save the user’s session and to carry out other activities strictly necessary for the operation of the site, for example in relation to traffic distribution.

One particular type of technical cookie is the consent storage cookie; this cookie keeps track of your consent to the use of cookies on this site so that you are not presented with the Cookie Policy and consent request on subsequent visits.

ANALYTICAL COOKIES
These are cookies used to collect and analyse information that helps us understand how users interact with the site, for example by providing:

  • statistical information on access and visits to the website relating to the last page visited;
  • the number of sections and pages visited and the number of visitors;
  • statistical information on the time spent on the site by the average user.

This information may be associated with user details such as IP address, domain or browser; however, when analyzed for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site, the cookies that collect it can be assimilated to technical cookies. Through the use of the Google Analytics panel, it is possible for us to understand whether visits have been made by new or returning visitors by checking how the pages have been navigated (entry and exit links, movement between pages, time spent, geographical origin, etc.).

AGGREGATE STATISTICAL COOKIES
To perform these functions www.accapierre.it uses third-party services that anonymise the data and make it untraceable to individuals.

Where services are present that are not fully anonymised, the user will find them listed among the third-party cookies for which consent can be withheld, in order to guarantee their privacy. These cookies, which are not profiling cookies, are exempt from the need to obtain the consent of the person concerned.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google Inc, which uses cookies to collect and analyse, in aggregate form, information about users’ browsing.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United Kingdom. Neither the site nor Google will associate the user’s IP address with any other data in their possession that directly identifies the user. The use of these cookies is not necessary, but allows the owner to improve its content and services based on the information obtained from the analysis of statistics.

The release of this type of cookie does not require the user’s consent, but only the release of a full disclosure associated with a summary version of it released through an information banner.

PROFILE COOKIES
The site www.accapierre.it does not in any way use so-called “profiling” cookies (aimed at creating profiles on the user and used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing the web) or so-called “third-party” cookies (aimed at receiving on the user’s device, while browsing a site, cookies sent by different sites or web servers).

OTHER THIRD-PARTY COOKIES
This type of cookie integrates functionalities and services developed by third parties within the pages of the site such as icons and preferences expressed in social networks, software to generate maps, the possibility to access video streaming services and CDN networks or other additional services. These cookies are sent from third party domains and partner sites that offer their functionality between the pages of the site. If you have an account or use the services of such parties on other websites, they may be able to know that you have visited the site www.accapierre.it.
The user must also bear in mind that these third parties, over which ACCAPIERRE S.R.L. cannot exercise any control, may intercept some of his personal data during navigation outside www.accapierre.it, thanks to the information stored in the cookies to which consent has been given for their use. ACCAPIERRE S.R.L. cannot therefore provide any guarantees regarding the use that third party owners make of the information collected. The use of the data collected by these external operators through cookies is subject to their respective privacy policies. For detailed information on the subject, we recommend that you consult the privacy policies of the services indicated as third-party cookies.

COOKIES THAT PROVIDE INTERACTIVE MAPS
These cookies allow you to include customisable interactive maps within your site. This site uses Google Maps to provide detailed information about the location of its site.

SOCIAL BUTTONS PLUGINS AND WIDGETS
On the site www.accapierre.it there are special ‘buttons’ (called ‘social buttons/widgets’) that depict the icons of social networks or other services (e.g. YouTube). These buttons allow users who are browsing the site to interact with a “click” directly with the social networks depicted there. In this case, the social network acquires data relating to the user’s visit, while ACCAPIERRE S.R.L. will not share any navigation information or user data acquired through its site with the social networks accessible through the social buttons/widgets.

The videos coming from YouTube and inserted on the pages of this site have been integrated using the version from the domain https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/ in order to avoid the installation of third-party cookies from that service. The most common use is for sharing social network content. The presence of plug-ins involves the transmission of cookies to and from all sites operated by third parties. The management of information collected by “third parties” is governed by the relevant privacy policy, which you should refer to.

If a social network user visits ACCAPIERRE S.R.L.’s web pages while logged into their account, that information may be associated with their account. Even if you use the plug-in functions (for example, by clicking on the ‘Like’ button), the information will be associated with your account. This type of cookie is not essential to the operation of the site.

THE ‘COOKIES’ BANNER – INFORMATION ON THEIR USE
As required by the provision “Identification of simplified procedures for the information and acquisition of consent for the use of cookies” of 8 May 2014, when required, the user must give consent to the use of cookies.

When using the application for the first time, the user will see a brief information on the use of cookies.

By continuing to use the site, closing the information strip or clicking on any part of the page or scrolling down to highlight further content, you declare that you have read the Cookie Policy of www.accapierre.it and the information regarding the processing of personal data. The cookies set and collected by the site www.accapierre.it (third-party technical, third-party aggregate statistical) do not require consent but require the use of an information tool (summary information) that the owner has identified, for simplicity, in the published banner.

The user will always have the possibility to remove these cookies at any time through the methods outlined below. The application remembers the choice made by the user, therefore the short information will not be repeated in subsequent connections from the same device.
